Love, Love Love alpacas, but live in a housing development? Don't think you have the time for them, but love to work with their fiber? Try our new adoption program at True Blue Farm.
Here's how it works: You pick any of our alpacas to adopt. You can choose one for higher quality fiber, or just one that has a personality you love.
Once you've made your choice and adopted your alpaca, you can be as involved as you want here on the farm. You can help out on health day once a month, halter training, and shearing.

You will receive:
- Adoption certificate, a color pedigree and a photograph of your alpaca.
- Regular pictures and email updates about your alpaca.
- Your alpaca's shorn blanket fleece
- Visitation rights
- Opportunity to participate in monthly health day with the entire herd.
- Invitation to attend (and assist if desired) the annual shearing, usually April.
- Opportunity to assist in halter training (crias and young alpacas) and at show appearances.
- Identification on the True Blue website as the sponsor of your adopted alpaca.

Details:
True Blue Farm retains the right to retain a 2 oz sample of the blanket for Spin Off competitions and show the blanket in the Spring and Fall shows (Apr-Nov) after which you will receive the blanket and copies of the judges' rating sheets.
If True Blue enters negotiations to sell your alpaca during the adoption period, you have two options: pick a different alpaca or if the adoption fee is paid in full, we will ensure the sales contract will specifically state that the blanket is already sold. If you do not desire to exchange alpacas, we will refund your payment.
